
Our Program and Goals
Volunteers for Life train participants to:
- run chastity and abstinence programs
- promote natural family planning
- combat the growing threat of euthanasia
- train teen and adult counselors to work in school-based chastity programs
- train the pro-life leaders of the community
Pro-Life Volunteer Corps

Description of Program:
Volunteers for Life are inspired by the Holy Spirit to assist in building a culture of life rather than a culture of death. They do this through prayer and action, supporting the Respect Life Program of the Catholic Church. Volunteers work in Pro-life agencies, Respect Life offices, parishes, maternity homes, day care centers, hospices, settlement houses - wherever positive pro-life family values are being promoted. Volunteers may do direct service or assist in administration or programming. They assist in promoting chastity, NFP, family life, child care, and social justice issues.

Personnel Needed:
Women who are pro-life and wish to make a difference in society. Volunteers must be able to live simply in community and wish to deepen their prayer life and their commitment to gain skills in furthering the respect life cause.
Age(s):
21 years and older
Requirements:
Women with college education or work experience
Living Arrangements:
Volunteers live together with a Sister of Social Service. They participate in community prayer and community support.
Benefits:
Room and board, stipend, medical insurance and transportation to and from place of work are provided. A one week orientation program is provided by Volunteers for Life plus in-service training at the ministry site.
